At Connected Learning, clear structures support calm, consistent learning. These policies are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and meaningful progress for every student.

1. Booking & Sessions

Tutoring is delivered on a weekly basis, with a consistent session time reserved for your child.

Sessions are available as:

• 60 minutes - $90
• 30 minutes - $50

Your child’s session time is confirmed once payment has been received.

Sessions continue weekly unless otherwise arranged.

2. Payment

Payment is required to secure and maintain your child’s weekly session time.

Payments may be made:

• Weekly in advance, or
• Via an agreed payment arrangement

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure payments are made on time.

If payments fall behind, sessions may be paused until outstanding amounts are settled.

3. Cancellations & Missed Sessions

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.

• Missed sessions are not refunded
• Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged in full
• A make-up session may be offered where possible, subject to availability

Make-up sessions must be used within a reasonable timeframe and cannot be guaranteed.

4. Attendance & Punctuality

Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time.

Late arrival does not extend the session.

Regular attendance is important for maintaining progress, confidence, and learning momentum.

5. School Holidays

Sessions run during the school term.

Families may choose to pause sessions during school holidays. Your regular weekly session time will be held and resume the following term.

6. Online Session Requirements

To ensure high-quality online learning, students are expected to attend sessions with:

• A stable internet connection
• A quiet, distraction-free space
• A device with a working camera and microphone
• Any required materials ready for the session

7. Professional Expectations

Connected Learning is committed to maintaining a respectful, supportive, and focused learning environment.

If agreed expectations around engagement, conduct, or commitments are not met, Connected Learning reserves the right to pause or discontinue tutoring services.
